Facts:

1963 – Richmond, KY produces “The Exiles.”  In 1972, they change their name to “Exile.”

11 award nominations from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music including Vocal Group of the Year, Instrumental Group of the Year, Best Drummer, and Best Keyboard Player.

Exile members have received the BMI Songwriter of the Year, BMI Song of the Year, ACM Song of the Year, and the BMI Songwriter of the Century awards, along with BMI Airplay Awards for more than 9 million radio performances.

18 hits including 13 #1 singles and 5 Top 10 singles.

“Kiss You All Over" was Exile’s first #1 hit and a smash hit in 60 countries.

8 Million albums and singles sold worldwide, including Gold Records in U.S., England, Germany, Australia, South Africa, and Canada.

Exile band members wrote and performed "Take Me Down", and "Closer You Get"--both later becoming multi-platinum #1 hits for Alabama.

Exile includes songwriters for major label artists, including Alabama, Kenny Rogers, Janie Fricke, Forrester Sisters, Sheena Easton, Tracy Lawrence, Travis Tritt, Restless Heart, Diamond Rio, Clay Walker, and Andy Griggs.

Through the pop years Exile toured with Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Dick Clark Caravan of Stars, Boston, Doobie Brothers, and Seals and Crofts.

Through the country years Exile toured with Kenny Rogers, Oak Ridge Boys, Reba McIntyre, Alabama, Alan Jackson, Lee Greenwood, George Strait, The Judds, and Randy Travis.

Exile music has been used in numerous movies, including “Happy Gilmore,” “Man on the Moon,” “Employee of the Month,” and “Wild Hogs.”
